The absolute worst I have ever seen next to baycare. Still to this day requiring masks and screening. You would think a building full of so called doctors would know that 1 masks don't work it's a proven fact. 2 my medical history is private. This shows me that the doctors here are not worth the paper their degrees are on

I thought people were kidding when they said that the service here was bad. Please listen to the negative reviews. I spoke with them a two times regarding birth control and the woman on the phone said she would get back to me, ( which was November 2nd). The fall semester has ended, and no she never did get back to me.

My PCP at school is Dr. Friend. I’ve seen him once and will see him again today but he was very professional and good to me when I saw him my first time. Nothing unnecessary was recommended to me and no costs were charged to me that were not discussed. As a student, I do not pay for office visits and I think that’s a GREAT thing. The ladies at the desk are hit or miss but I tend to have decent experiences with them and the nurses. Over the phone, they’re usually accommodating. My women’s health doctor is Burroughs. She’s very kind however told me I had Something one time and then prescribed me a cream that caused highly adverse reactions. When I went back due to the cream, she told me it was razor burn or acne, not what she told me I had. Kind of embarrassing to me.. I usually have no problems, other than walk ins are stated that they are welcome but typically if you walk in, it’ll be 4+ hours before you’re seen. Not their fault, just make sure you make an appointment as walk-ins wouldn’t be guaranteed.

Everything went good at my appointment I have no complaints what so ever! Dr. Poff was super nice. I guess all the other reviews goes down to who your nurse and doc are. Anyways I had a really good experience. FYI any doctors office you go to you will always have to wait no matter what. Yea your appointment can be at 12:40 but that does not mean they will see you exactly at 12:40. In my experience I work at a doctor's office and they are always busy. Just because you have to wait a little longer than your appointment time does not mean you should give them a 2 or 3 star.

Questions & Answers

What are the insurance requirements for international students? Can they have a plan through Medicaid/Chip/Kidcare? The Healthcare Marketplace or The Hillsborough County Healthcare Plan? Or is there a specific insurance plan they must carry?

Hi! International students are mandated to have health insurance, but the details about what insurance you have depends on your working situation. If you work for USF you may be eligible for insurance via the university... the other options I'm not totally sure...

Where do Test Well Water?

Good afternoon Kim, on the USF Campus, water would be tested by USF Facilities. If you are off the USF Campus, your utilities company (City of Tampa or your county) would be able to answer your question. Thank you for your time.
