It’s fine what you want to support and believe as an individual but I will NEVER again set foot in that place after they, as a business, posted “Let’s go B————-“. I cannot and will not support such a business. It is vulgar and low class. Best to leave business and politics separate.

I have wanting to try Mat Valley Meats for a very long time but couldn’t afford them. I finally was in place where I could afford a freezer pack. First of all the girl behind the counter seemed put out because I wanted to ask questions about the different packs. Not customer friendly at all! Would suggest management either train their employees or hire ones that want to provide customer service! Being single I didn’t want half a cow and finally settled on the 53lb try-it pack but couldn’t customize it at all. The other negative about this business is the smell! It smelled like bad meat and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough, but couldn’t get the smell out of nose for the rest of the day! Not to impressed with the whole experience. Will probably use Mike’s Meat in Eagle River the next time I want to fill my freezer. Very disappointed that a valley business is operated so poorly.

One of the few places that process bear meat. The summer sausage is very good. The jalapeno/cheddar hotdogs are good. Every person I interacted with was very nice and helpful; however, I didn't receive a call when my order was done. They said they called and left a message, but I didn't get it. Might be a problem on my end or theirs; don't know. The product and people were very good overall. 5 stars for the summer sausage and 4 for the hotdogs and lack of phone call. I would use them again.

I had a roadkill moose processed, hamburger with 10% Buffalo fat, summer sausages, fire sticks and pepperoni sticks. The quality is awesome! I am very impressed with it all- the moose burger is the best Ihave ever ate. The sausages far exceeded my expectations. Customer service was impeccable, offloading and pick up was made easy, five stars all the way!
