Beware lot rent goes up every year. Nothing is ever fixed. Don’t bother addressing any concerns to management . People ignore stops signs and drive thru here like it’s a raceway. Pool has a huge hole in it and is overrun with loud obnoxious drunks.Our lake is constantly having debris dumped in it by the park. The owner purchased swans from the city that he abandon and left the financial responsibility up to the residents for their care . Along with Peking ducks he wanted . We also have a Bobcat that has been eating pets and ducks that residents has encountered. It is not afraid of people. He has disregarded the safety of the residents here completely. There’s constantly water main breaks and sewer problems. The list could go on and on. If you plan on buying in here stop and talk to some of the residents on your own. Don’t just go where they want you to .

The leasing office increased my rent by 30%. People Are leaving the park because they can no longer afford to live here.

I will strongly advise people to do your research before coming to Highland Village! For the year 2022 they've raised our rent $57 more a month you'll be paying nearly $900 a month within the next year or 2 it'll be over a 1000. They try to sell you on the fabulous cable deal but you have to have it you must pay for it whether you want it or not! They also raise their cable deal from $55 a month to $65 a month a lot of people here on fixed income and disability. There are many parks that pay your water garbage and even your lawn service don't be sold; they charge under 600 a month. I know 3 people near me moving because of the increases and I know people who have already left. Sad very sad

We rented Feb - Mar. and loved it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was having a problem walking and one of the residents offered us her golf cart. The office staff was super, JoAnn did everything she could to make us comfortable, even though she was ill part of the time. I would love to go back.

The pool is rather large on the larger side of a standard apartment complex type of pool. It's surrounded on all four sides by the deck which has plenty of Lounge seating. Adjacent is the up-to-date covered shuffleboard courts. Not quite sure if they still hold them but they at one time help some pretty large tournaments. Hope this helps you Sharon
