I am leaving this 5-star review bearing in mind we're having an unprecedented shortage of medical staff from covid. Yes, there are some small issues. But nothing compared to what you see at other facilities, and nothing that affects patient safety or health care. My grandfather was here in January 2022 for rehab, and my grandmother is here right now (June 2022) for rehab. I sleep much better at night knowing that they are at Life Care versus some of the other alternatives. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to the senior management clearly care about the wellbeing of the residents, and are doing the best they can.

My father was recently in Life Care Center of Punta Gorda following spinal surgery. Unable to immediately go home and care for himself, he needed the care of a temporary residential treatment facility. He received excellent care at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda. The staff was caring, concerned, compassionate, and treated my dad with a real sense of dignity. Should he or any of our family or friends need this type of 5 star treatment in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to call on the care of the dedicated staff at Life Care Center of Punta Gorda.

Very poor management left my wife with no medications for most of her first day and night. Finally they "found" some pain meds at 1:30am after we threatened to call 911. Many staff members are doing their best but they have insufficient supplies and no one knows the rules so everyone gives you a different version of what is happening. There was fecal matter on the floor when we arrived and the toilet backed up almost daily. It's a lack of training and supplies that pulls this place down and that's poor management. Stay away.

My mother has been at the Life Care Center for over 2 years. Her care has been phenomenal. Since she was bed bound, she required extra care. I came in often to visit her, was greeted warmly, questions were always answered promptly and most importantly she always looked well cared for. I would recommend the Life Care Center to anyone needing nursing care. I feel as if I have made many friends who truly cared about my mom. Thank you to the nursing staff, hospice, CNA's and all care givers who gave my mom great care.

No visiting hours. But after hours you have to ring for someone to let you in. 8a to 8p someone can let you in and out
I'm not sure. I am a care giver. For client there. I will find out today, and will get back to you today, after 4 P.M. YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY.
She can go there and fill out an application. It would be very helpful if she also knows English as that is the main language spoken there.
