What a wonderful rescue and a thoroughly enjoyable tour to hear these animals stories. Both my kids enjoyed it as well as myself. Thank you and keep doing the good work!

We had the best experience today! Matt was very welcoming and a wealth of Information! It’s very clear they are passionate about what they do in providing all the horses with the utmost care. The facility is clean and orderly. Eunice, Matt’s Mother finished us up with a tour and had all the great story’s about each horse as if she was describing her own children! It is a well maintained and my nose never knew I was on a horse farm! 😁. What a great day we had!!! I look forward to volunteering for such a wonderful group of people being great stewards of God’s creatures!!! Thanks Matt and Eunice for making Leon and I so comfortable and sharing your love of the horses with us! I look forward to being a part of it!

We don’t require experience, regimented schedules, or time frames for volunteers. You can come when you want and go when you need. ** Your next step should be to complete a Volunteer Application (https://swfhr.org/help/volunteer/volunteer-application/) then set up an Orientation after completing your application. **

South West Florida Horse Rescue,Inc. Rescues local horses that are in need of a safe place to be. Their purpose is to rehabilitate the equines in their care and find them their forever homes. There is an adoption fee but the main focus is on finding the right person for the horse and an inspection of the property is also done.
