Others may rave, but my experience was even more worse than Bad. I took my wife's Pistol in to have night sights installed on it, and, when I picked it up after they called, I noticed the slide was chipped, scratched, and gouged. I immediately brought it to the store owners attention and he blew it off as Holster wear. I told him the pistol had never seen an holster and when I brought it in to him for the work, it hadn't even had 100 rounds of ammunition put through it since it was bought new. He told me their vice has pads on it to prevent that sort of thing from happening. I told him again, it was a brand new firearm when I brought it in and now it looks like this. His response: "Well, what do you want me to do about it." I was, at that time, also bringing in my Father's Rifle that's been in need of service for a very long time. I left it with MC, but immediately called my Dad and told him about my experience and asked if he really wanted me to leave it there. He decided to let it stay. However, he went back 2 months later to pick up the rifle because there had been no service performed on it. I know people who have had work done by him and have nothing but good things to say. I won't ever use him for anything on my firearms again. As a side note, the Beretta Pistol that shot straight and true at 25 yards when it was first fired out of the box, now shoots very low and left at 15 yards and now the wife has to rely solely on her laser to hit the target accurately

Excellent Service and Friendly Staff... I'm not from the area and needed some assistance installing a front sight on my shotgun, it was an oddball thread size and the new sight I previously bought came with 5 different machine screws and none of them fit my barrel, and I needed it done within a day because I was going hunting in a couple days. So I stopped in and the folks at MC's took care of me on the spot, drilled and tapped me a new hole and installed the new sight. It goes a long was with me for them to do this because I'm sure they had more repairs and installations to do on other weapons, within 45 minutes I was out of there and they did it at a reasonable price. They also had a decent selection of every kind of shotgun, rifle and pistol for a hometown gunsmith as well. Wheatear your a local or passing through its worth the time to check them out.

This is a family owned and operated business. The folks at M C's are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a large assortment of firearms, ammo and other shooting paraphernalia. The quality of work done and fairness of the price brings me back to M C's Gunsmithing time and again for all my Gunsmithing needs.

The gunsmith at MC's would be a very good place to start. He'll be honest with you as to price and availability. And he isn't likely to charge you to take a look and offer possibilities. Good Luck.
