Great park. Very well maintained. Great fishing.

The park has a little something for everyone. There are 3 areas with playground equipment for the children, however current construction has rendered the largest and front most play area inaccessible. There are many tiny exercise stations (that could use a little touching up in my opinion) for the health conscious, concrete and wooden picnic tables scattered everywhere, and even two shelter areas with many tables. The largest and front most shelter area has a stage, and nearby the second shelter area is a sandy volleyball court. There is access to Peace River via boat, and trails that lead off into more secluded wooded areas. Be careful though, as alligators have been known to emerge near the boat loading area. Many feral cats live in the woods here, some will run away, some will walk right up to you. There is some major ground construction going on in the area that appears like they're putting a larger road going straight through the park. Their hours of operation are 7 am to 6 pm normally, and 6:30 am to 8 pm during daylight savings time.
