Trail is in as good as expected conditions. River flooding leaves debris in its wake, you can observe. the high water marks on trees. I like to call it real world Florida. Unlike state parks where grass is manicured, trails are paved, with signs for all the do's and don'ts. Wildlife is plentiful I have saw deer, hogs, song birds, birds of prey. Grandson loves the fishing catfish and panfish also bass and snook. We love it well maybe not the blood sucking flying insects.

Not a good place to hike. Lots of trash, unfortunately

Beautiful, out of the way, back to nature place. This is a preserve, so yes, it is not maintained like a manicured State park....If that's what you want then go to a state park.
