We removed old carpet and replaced with floor laminate. Your sales rep Alexander S. was very helpful and professional. He provided a cross selection of colors to choose from. Once we made our choice the installation was set up for the following week. The installers arrived early (with a call prior to let us know), moved the furniture and went to work. They did a great job and kept us aware as they were laying the tile panels. I did not get their names, but they too were courteous, professional, and quick. Thank you! names

We bought hardwood floors. The sales rep said they can install the very next day. That got us excited only to be told when the crew arrive they can do the floors but not the stairs. The lead installer told us after they began working they would be back in two weeks to finish the job. Once the crew finish installing the main part of the house he said they would probably comeback the following day. He told me they had enough materials to do the stairs but they were not the crew to do it. So I called empire today and couldn’t get a hold of anyone for two days. They transfer you to a voicemail message where no one calls you back. Then I called on Wednesday and spoke to a nice lady who said they could not complete the stairs as they did not have enough materials. They left my stairs case un finish and my wife almost sprain her foot as she missed the a step. Emailed photos and have not heard anything from empire today. At this point they can come and rip everything out and give me my money back.

My floors are beautiful. I just wish I would’ve known that my base boards could’ve been removed for a better look. Not the best experience from start to finish. My sales rep & his manager advised the new floor could be laid on top of existing floors. However, When the installers came Thursday morning that was NOT the case. I was then told it’s going to be an additional $2300+ to remove ALL existing tile and to level the flooring as needed. My smoke detector which is monitored was removed and is now sending Tamper alerts & has to be replaced which is a $60 service fee along with $125 for a new one since it has to be replaced. I had to make arrangements for my dog since the noise would be to loud with the machine they are bringing in to remove time. My scheduled was effected which I missed 2 days of work, Extra expenses eating out. Dog watcher for a week. Everything had to be moved to the garage or back porch. All of this was Totally NOT expected. My installers were amazing. David & his step son Sebastian. So I do thank them for there time and all they did to make the experience better.

We replaced the living room (wood) and kitchen/utility (tile) areas with a single type of LVP flooring. The salesman was extremely competent and did a fine job of arranging everything. Results are superb! Removing the wood flooring was a real challenge for the installation crew but they powered through it. Total install was 3.5 days even with the wood issue.
