The hospitality was caring and genuine. Although I’m not a member of the Church that the Monastery is affiliated with, I felt a deep bond of community and faith with everyone I encountered. The emphasis on contemplation and silence really helped me to recover a lost place with God. The beauty of the mountain was profound and I still carry it with me. Thank you Monks of Mt Tabor for sharing the love of our good God with me.

Always a beautiful place to celebrate the Divine Liturgy and to experience the peace of Christ. The life of the monks inspire us to a deeper inner Catholic life that flows into compassion for God’s people.

I play a very old classical guitar that I use to bring myself into a closer communion with God. I do not play loudly. There is no electricla plug in. May I please bring it on the 16th of this month?

If you go to their website Fr. Duc, they will have a phone number that you can call. Ask for Brother Jude.

On March 7 321AD why did Roman Emporer Constantine change the Sabbath from the 7th day of the week Saturday to Sunday the first day of the week? If Yahweh rested the first day the heavens and Earth would never be.

The Hebrew Sabbath begins at sundown on Saturday and ends sundown on Sunday. This has not changed, ever. It's the same Sabbath today as it was 2,000 years ago. Only people's common perception about when a day begins or ends has changed. I hope this helps.
