We adopted the best Shepherd from this Rescue last year. When we first adopted him, he would hide behind us when we stopped to talk with someone. Now, he goes right up to them without hesitation. He loves his 4 mi walks, stopping to greet strangers, heading for shaded areas (just like clock work), and traveling back and forth, i.e. MS, GA, and VA several times. Although he doesn't want anything to do with the water, he has his own pool. We love him so much as he does us.

I have been offering fostering services to SW FL GS Rescue for the past 6 months. I have found Erik and Diane to be professional both in experience and methods of evaluating and rescuing German Shepherd dogs. I enjoy working with Erik, and find him to be very trust worthy. He has great listening skills and loves the dogs, regardless of their illnesses, and/or problems. I highly recommend this organization for finding, fostering and loving G.S. dogs. I have adopted a female pup myself and am very, very happy with my decision! Gail Fields

This rescue is the most amazing rescue! Eric and his wife are so selfless and knowledgeable with what they do. Very kind people, who genuinely care for the animals they rescue and re-home.
