Brought in by ambulance, received EKG and had five vials of blood and an iv put in within the first 20 minutes. Was then taken to the waiting room for almost 6 hours. When I finally made it to fast track, all the blood they took when I got there had disappeared, none of it made it to the lab. It took three veins for her to get enough blood for all the cultures that needed to be ran. Doctor had great bedside manner as did both nurses I dealt with. They were busy, I was patient, and in the end I got the medicine I needed. They need to work on flow of traffic with patients. Patients who are walking and talking on their phones who came in 2 hours after me, we're seen before me. That's not a good feeling, to be left there that long. Discharge was quick and easy, they sent my scripts to my Pharmacy, and hopefully I will receive them tomorrow. Three stars for this visit, because they lost my blood, and I had to wait so long in the waiting room.

This hospital has to be the worst place on the planet. There was a man that came in with the ambulance and they left him in a chair screaming with pain and he was crying. No one helped him. My daughter went in because her blood pressure was 159/101 and they made her wait 6 hours before being seen by a doctor. Never go there there has to be another hospital some distance away but it’s better than this hospital. There equipment is from 1970. It’s horrible. Never go there.

This place has been the worst experience ever. I came in with severe pain on my stomach on a Saturday night. The pain was due a recent procedure done with a private Gastric Doctor. Since the procedure was completed with a Doctor that didn’t belong to the Hospital or their network, they refused to help me. In addition, their service is extremely slow. It took me 1 hour to see a Doctor who was with me for 3 minutes. They would take over 45 mins to change an IV. Waited over 8 hours for a CT Scan, then 4 more hours for the results. Ended up spending 48 hrs in an ER and going home still with pain. Never again.

I had my worst health care experience in my life here. I had a tonsil abscess. I showed up as instructed by a minute clinic nurse at an ER. This happened to be the one closest to me. It was 5 pm. I waited for 4 hours to actually be brought back for a diagnoses and medication. After 3 or 4 hours they kicked me back out into the waiting room telling me they just need to wait for a bed. I sat in the waiting room from 1:45am-7:30am. No sleep. They then brought me back and did my vitals, and swabbed me for covid. They put me BACK into the waiting room. At this point I’ve been here for 15 hours and I still don’t have a bed and any actual treatment. I do not recommend.

Agreed
They have a patient portal you can set up
I'm not sure. My intuition tells me that they accept most health insurance policies. Just as important is the question of whether or not your insurance views AdventHealth as "out of network" or not.
