Great park. Kids play and enjoy the park very much. Itβs a great place for dogs and great community of people with mostly well behaved dogs. No homeless stay here as itβs attached to the schools, not sure how that works, but itβs working very very very very well. I would highly suggest this park to anyone with dogs or kids to enjoy the day at. Fully fenced. The are set up for baseball games and practice a few days during the week but itβs clearly posted and most people stay away to allow the kids to play. Keep up the work at this park as itβs one of very very very few that are not destroyed by homeless.

I used to clean this place for my job around 2000ish . it is a really clean nice kept park just in a sketchy part of long beach . I wouldn't recommend a nighttime picnic as there is a no Batman allowed sign. Great in the day .

Great park with lots of space to explore. Parking is a pain if you don't park in the immediate small lot. I used to come here during the summer months for Park Jam. Those are fun!

From Dusk to Dawn there is no chance of getting any parking.. basically if there is no parking you're going to have to take your chances and park in a red zone then wake up early around 7am-ish and move it or risk getting a parking ticket.... They are pretty much lenient since they know that there is no parking but don't risk it if you don't have to. Everyone there knows there is no parking so if you're lucky enough to find a spot keep it and don't make the mistake of waking up late when that street sweeper Rolls by......THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR IF YOUR CITATIONS PILE UP..... keep in mind that we all live in the community.. So we all Help each other as much as we can to avoid the stress it can create, if your not neighborly then don't live in our neighborhood.. So park right and as close as you can to the cars next to you... Cuz apparently Things tend to happen to those cars that dont.. I say this from experience.. Respect the community!!!....ππβ
Yes. Located on the west side of the Community Center building.
Yes you need a permit. Nice park. Saw Shakespeare in the Park production here: MacBeth in arena seating (byo blanket).
