RAD trails! Heck of a climb but so worth it. Braille is pretty gnarly so some skills is definitely required. It has options for gnarlier jump lines, or lightly easier lines. Flow is an all around blast. Love this place

Great trails, a lot of them in the shade of the trees....some great mountain biking

Went biking on the flow trail. Didn't explore outside of that area, but it is a great shaded place to bike. The flow trail is awesome and the inclines are not too aggressive. It is now my new favorite biking trail.

Must see trail system about 45 minutes outside of Santa Cruz. Unique forest of Red Woods. Flow trail is one of the most memorable mountain bike trails I have ever done!

Not very good for scenic hiking. Down lower towards Aptos you've got better creekside trails and fun stuff more geared to hiking.
I checked on All Trail app and it said no dag.
No but seriously consider getting a membership with the people that helped make those trails. Mbosc.org. :)
Not for begginers.. if you don't mind driving try Endor first at Tamarancho or Emma Mcrary at Pogonip(UCSC trails) before doing Demo
I do it with a regular one. However, I guess it all depends on how you take risks. It is not a ski resort downhill, it is a flow trail, the idea is to be able to do it without breaking and without pedaling... I'm definitely not skilled enough to get there but I see it possible.
Normal parks hours usually apply. Parking outside the gate is normal if you want to start early. Ride up the road after parking lot. Turn right onto fire road top of hill. Ride fireroad approx 4.5 miles up at crest of mountain turn right onto Ridgeline. Option for down hill: Braille trail- steep, black diamond, breaks get HOT! All other trails are easier but can be technical at speed. Flow trail is usually nice after its been groomed. I like Braille!! At fireroad at bottom make a right and pedal out approx 3.5miles. Hope that helps
