This beach has been the pandemic saver for my family. We always felt safe here because the beach is so big that groups can space out and maintain social distance. Even after 2 years, my family comes here few times in the summer. It’s a beautiful and clean beach with amazing views. The only downside is that you have to pay to park closer to the beach. But if you are willing to walk few mins ( there is a trail that goes down to the beach and there is some Elevation, hence a bit difficult for the elderly) you can park in the large parking lot just outside for free. My favorite beach to spend some time in the sun :)

What beautiful sceneries this beach has! ⛱️ 😍 First time back at the beach since the Pandemic started in 2020 and I'm glad the fam & I chose this one. Great family beach and plenty of sand for everyone! The fam and I had a blast. Don't let the gloomy skies fool you, make sure to wear sunscreen 🌞😉

Beautiful place! Went here on a late Saturday afternoon. We fished quite a while on the pier. We caught a lot of fish - mostly Perch. Looks like a very good ecosystem as a good number of the fish we caught and let go were pregnant. The only gripe being that washrooms here were not kept clean. Maybe because of a large number of crowds. -1 for this. Otherwise a very beautiful place to come back to.

Seacliff is an 8 mile stretch of beach that is perfect for any activity firm sunrise to sunset. I saw beach bikes, kids digging in the sand, pelicans diving for fish and even dogs permitted on leash. Conveniently located just off highway 1.

There are a couple fire pits, may need reservation or getting there early
Yes disabled parking, State parks are usually not free.
You used to be able to ... I remember just like 12 years ago it was allowed . Not sure now.. probably designated areas as the other reviewer mentioned. Go early. Twin lakes has a nice designated grill area thats not too busy
There is rv camping at seacliff state beach but no tent camping. However down the beach about 2 miles away at new Brighton beach there is tent and rv camping. New Brighton State beach is in capitola.
Not that I am aware of but I haven't been there for a few days so you might want to call or go online.
From what I know, yes, you should get the discount. I'll try to see if I can do this for a family member
There’s not a lot of parking options but there is some free parking if you don’t mind a little walk
Restrooms are open near parking lot on the beach side of parking. Gross & smelly; barely toilet paper, and no toilet gaskets for your bottom to sit on. Sinks are outside--no soap either.
Above answers are all accurate 👌. Very busy now with summer.
Yes.
At sunset and the parking to go down by the water is only $10 for all day parking close to the 🌊💦
Yes on bonfire 55$
I was there on 1/20/21 bo RVs Day use section was open
There is no more overflow. It's all under reservations. If a spot isn't reserved or there is a no show you can get in line to claim those but it's first come first served. It's now closed until Jan 7 though.
I think their open as long as you keep your 6 feet apart from one another and wear your mask your ok I went a few times to different ones lately
Yes, but you must follow all local and state guidelines.
Closed. As are the picnic tables and beach front parking.
Yes, but the lower lot is closed. You need to park at the top parking lot and walk down. Parking is $10.
Yes it's open. Might get crowded at the entrance, but people can disperse on the beach
Fully contained units only I think but they looked closed now.
May be you can go to village park Aptos.
Yes
When they open back up you can. Pier is more PC than off a crowded beach!
No
The beach is open for that between 8 am and 11 am, and from 5 pm and 10 pm. You can bike, jog, surf, swim at any time.
It's a question google can't answer for you. A less popular beach is what I do on popular beach day's. I agree with you though. People and their precious k9s are out of control. But Google is not going to help.
I'm an out of towner an it isn't even hot yet wait till you wake an its 90 at 7 am you know it is gonna be a cooker
According to this, the stairway at Seacliff State Beach is about 80 ft up. http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMB2JM_Seacliff_Beach_Stairway_Aptos_CA
The fee was $10 per car. The pedestrians go for free.
Btw it's 2moro. It literally took me a minute to find out
Reservations book 6 months out, but they have a daily lottery for non hookup sites.
Yes you can fish off the pier or surf cast people usually catch perch but I've seen people catch halibut and once I think mackerel. You need a license.
When I was there I didn't see no fishing signs. I also saw a few people fishing. I believe you need a fishing license in California though. You can buy them a fishing store supply stores or Walmart.
Generally yes but this weekend there is a high surf warning
Very walking friendly..stairs or hill...and plenty of area to walk along the beach! You cant beat it!
1st come 1st served...get there early and grab what you want and someone stay there, especially if you want the ones by the water.
No they do not allow camping on the beach. Their are canp sites right by the beach.
Yes, 1st come 1st serve, they open the gate at 8am but people go around 7am n walk down n get their cottage
1. California State Parks recommends that recreational drone users check with their local State Park District before operating a UAS within a State Park. .i get 2 answers 2.Just a reminder that the use of drones on state parks is illegal (from a drone suppliers)
That's a good question🤔 not sure tho
I believe it might be allowed in reserved table areas or paid camp sites only
They are reservable, but if nobody has reserved the space it becomes first come first served.
