Visited here once and I think I'm going to avoid this location from now on. It's got a super retro vibe like something out of an 80's aerobics video, which would be kinda fun if it didn't also make it a less than enjoyable place to workout. A good chunk of the equipment is outdoors where it can be cold and windy, and the inside isn't much more pleasant because it's dirty and smells like 40 years of B.O. A lot of the machines are squeaky, the ceiling upstairs is awfully low, and the lighting isn't particularly bright, making the place just generally feel uninviting. Considering 24 Hour Fitness costs twice as much as the gym chain I was a member at before (unfortunately no locations in the area), I think it's fair to expect something at least comparable, but this location simply isn't. You can technically work out here, but I doubt you'll enjoy it.

I was going to give this location a 4 star because its a bit dated. BUT the friendly staff won me over!!! The usual 24hr staff at other locations seem bothered you’re checking in. Here everyone was welcoming. The staff is constantly cleaning, wiping equipment, checking trash cans, organizing weights and asking if you need anything. THERESA was very friendly and engaging, it was my first time here and she gave me the layout of the gym and pointed me in the right direction. You guys/girls are awesome!!!

My girlfriend and I signed up about a month ago and have both enjoyed it. I've been a member at various gyms but never had a chance to try 24 hour fitness prior to this. I can't speak for other locations but the Carmel Mountain 24 hour fitness is everything I'd hope for in a gym. The gym has Indoor/Outdoor exercise areas, showers, pool(not currently open which is understandable). The manager who signed us up and gave us a tour of the facilities is extremely friendly and always says hi to us when we come in. Overall, the employees are very welcoming and have great customer service skills. If you're looking for a gym to get back in shape after a year of covid look no further!

During pandemic outdoor workout only. Its always crowed due to limited time 1.5 hrs workouts and limited equipment. Being able to get a workout and be outside is outstanding.
