Amazing margaritas and tacos! You have to try their fruit cart margarita, it’s the best margarita I’ve ever had. The watermelon margarita with mezcal is incredible as well. Their tacos are unique and incredibly good. Prices are quite reasonable given the quality of food and drinks. If you haven’t been here you should definitely try it!

Loved this restaurant. The Puesto Perfect Margarita is a must try. The tacos can be mixed and matched. The Baja fish taco was very good. We also got the chef’s salsa sampler with the chips - the salsas very unique but quiet spicy. Vibrant ambiance and a great experience.

Very good! My Lyft driver recommended this place when I told him I was staying in La Jolla, and took me there straightaway from the airport. Not authentic Mexican, but most everything I had was delicious, and there were some new twists and flavors that I hadn’t had with tacos before. Started with the chips and salsa and Parmesan guacamole. The house salsa was excellent, and the Parmesan added a nice twist. I tried out four different tacos: filet mignon, quesabirria, tamarindo shrimp, and tuna. The filet mignon and quesabirria were absolute fire. I filet was very tender and flavorful (as filet mignon should be), and the sauce had a smooth, smoky, subtle spice that was very unique. The quesabirria was so soft and flavorful — just awesome. I ended up ordering a second one of these. The shrimp was very good as well. The tuna, which looked amazing when it came out, was actually really disappointing. It was almost flavorless, and the cut was very sinewy and chewy in the middle. Just not good. Friendly staff, nice setting and seating arrangements, and what looked to be a pretty big drink menu. I definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and want a good twist on Mexican. Just don’t have the tuna!

Really great Mexican food! Amazing sauces, tacos, taquitos, guacamole and margaritas. I appreciate the veggie options! Dog friendly! Recommend getting a reservation. Nice covered outdoor dining area with heaters.
