Extremely great lab, disturbed a ceiling tile when doing a smoke detector and was unsure if it had asbestos in it. Took a sample from a spare tile and sent it off to the lab, they recieved it this morning (7/7/22 and had the results to me by 5pm cst). I'd highly recommend them to anyone that needs to get anything tested for asbestos, the price is extremely reasonable and they give a good breakdown of results. Thanks to the team at the lab!

Getting your questionable materials tested by Western Analytical Laboratory is a no-brainer. It was easy, inexpensive, and quick. The instructions on their website on how to send your sample(s) are easy to follow. In my case, I had a popcorn ceiling to remove. I was fortunate that there was no asbestos.

This is what you want!! Don’t waste your time and money on the expensive “kits” that need to first be mailed to you! A total outside renovation came to a screeching halt when someone on the demo team suggested that the siding possibly contained asbestos. No further work could be completed until we had it tested. I looked for testing with the fastest possible turnaround time (regardless of cost). Most testing required you order a test (up to a week to receive) send your sample in (another week or overnight depending on what you want to spend) and days before you get results... that had the best possible outcome of at least 9-10 days if paying for overnight mail back to the lab. That wasn’t gonna cut it. I placed my order with this lab and followed the easy instructions (no waiting for a “kit”) and the next day planned to overnight it at 8am hoping for results by the following day/evening. Next am an my son injured himself and required a visit to urgent care and then the hospital so my overnight sample didn’t even reach the post office till 4pm. I still got the test results that next day!!!! Just a few mins over 24hrs... amazing!!!! And the breakdown of what the sample is made of is exactly what the contractors needed to see. I will use this company again for other demo houses for sure.

Excellent response time!!!! We were completing some upgrades to the home and my husband decided to remove the popcorn ceiling. After some investigation it was definitely needed a test for asbestos as home was built in 1969. We mailed the samples from Miami, Fl and they were able to give us an answer the same day they received the samples. We did regular mail on Monday, they received it on Thursday noon and response was given at the end of the day. Excellent and detailed report.
