Has to wait outside for a half hour , there was a number on the door which would not get me to a person, was told the car rental would be $190 a day/ that was my only option. Went online and saw several I could book right then for $79… at any rate . Just over it.

Probably my best rental experience to date from reservation, to pickup, to drop off. I am a door dash driver and my transmission went out in my personal car. I checked local rates and they were all $500+ for the week 😬. I found out that door dash offers a discount through Hertz and they had the car that I needed available! Sam helped set me get set up with a Ford Fiesta and was very thorough in his explanation of their process for using debit vs credit and how I might be affected. He answered my questions very clearly and had a very kind demeanor. Great office experience. The car however, had some slight issues. The brakes were squealing a bit and it had kind of a funky smell, but I didn’t have to wait for a thorough cleaning so I appreciated that they were more interested in getting me what I needed right away. I can forgive the small details. I called the next day and mentioned it to Sam who very kindly offered to trade it for a Chevy Spark. No additional charge or auth. In and out. So thankful I called. Michael helped me with the trade and was also great to work with! Sounds like he’s the manager and he’s so positive! Very friendly and also kind and helpful. Sam helped me make drop off at the end of the week a breeze. I brought the keys in, handed them over and he said he would send me the receipt. I received the receipt in my email almost immediately. I love that they were very clear and no BS. Will be renting from them again if as when I’m in need! Thanks guys! Keep up the awesome customer service! 👏🏻👏🏻

Worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service. We reserved a car last Tuesday on 4/16 for today, Monday 4/22. We come in to the office, before we’re able to say a single word the older lady at the front tells us to sit down in a demanding voice..she doesn’t even greet us or smile at us. After sitting for about 15 min we’re called up, we give our last name and the first thing she says is we’ll have to come back later for the car! Apparently they were all out of cars and got booked out over the weekend. My husband started to explain to her that we reserved a car a week in advance, we called ahead of time. She started raising her voice at Him saying that there’s no cars. The lady didn’t even try to find us a car or call a different hertz location. First of all, at least have the decency to call us and tell us you have no cars! We changed our entire schedule today to work around getting a rental car. We had another appointment scheduled for our damaged car Today that we no longer can make it to because of their booking. It took us weeks to get an appointment in with the mechanic and now we have to wait again for an open spot at the shop. I’d give hertz a 0 rating!! No communication with their clients, no costumer service, worst staff I’ve ever met..

I rent from Hertz on a regular basis and LOVE the Vancouver Location! I always have fast, friendly service no matter who helps me. My cars are always ready for me when I arrive and I have very little wait time. Recently, they were very busy and instead of having me wait, Paula just checked my ID, handed me the keys and I was on my way. A few minutes later I received a call from Paula to wish me a great trip and ask about what I had planned, as we didn't get our normal chat. I was thrilled that she took the time to reach our and have that personal connection. I love that no matter what type of day I am having my interaction with the staff at Hertz always puts a smile on my face. I highly recommend this location!
