Parkside Lofts was indeed the worst living and move-out experience I have ever had. Between the multiple changes in management, the lack of responsiveness, the lack of urgency for a tenet's needs, and the unfriendly community demeanor while in the building, I would not recommend this community to anyone -- especially not anyone of color. As one of few black men living in the building, I constantly received unpleasant looks from staff and other tenants. Additionally, I received phone calls from staff on behalf of other tenants, assuming another tenant's viewpoint was more valid than mine (profiling). Lastly, after moving out I was charged roughly $700 for "damages & repairs." I have posted a video of what my unit looked like the day I handed in my keys. While the unit was not in perfect condition, it most definitely did not require $700 worth of work. All in all, if you're looking for an apartment there are other options in the area. I would recommend looking into one of the others, as Parkside's turnover rate is already pretty high.

My husband and I moved in here just a few weeks ago and so far have loved it. We downsized from a 1 bedroom at our previous apartment to a studio here but are not missing the loss of space at all. Tons of windows in the unit which makes the space feel larger and we overlook Columbia Tech Park as an added bonus. From submitting the application to the community brunch put on today, loving here has been great this far! Shout-out to Jameina for helping with the application process and making it a very easy transition and to Francis for putting on a beautiful brunch (mimosas included) and for bringing in a community environment!

I had the pleasure of working with Jameina. She made the process of renting an apartment really easy. She answered every question I had regarding the whole process and to be honest I had a quite a few. I'm very impressed with how nice and professional she was. I would highly recommend talking to her if you are planning on moving here. If you have any issues while living here Frances is the best. She's really awesome and willing to help out.

Apartments are clean and modern. The main areas are also well maintained. Staff and neighbors are friendly. Neighbors can be loud but that’s expected in all apartment living. But are pretty good about being quiet during quiet hours which is 10pm. It is a great central location. My apartment overlooks the park which I love and makes up for not having balconies. Beautiful park view and a great place for walks. Also there’s a brewery just across the parking lot which is great to walk to for dinner. Appliances are included and new. I have a 1 bedroom and apartment is located in center and is nice and spacious and has an AC unit. The bathroom is huge! I fit a whole book shelf in it with room to spare. Also was able to fit a king sized bed in bedroom no problem with nightstands and still have space. Overall have really loved living here!
