Overall a decent meal and nice place to visit. The atmosphere was pretty nice, and I loved their cute metal cups. Service was pretty average, but they seemed nice. The spring rolls were decent, and the steamed veggies were done well. The veggies could have used a little salt. The Flaming Beef was decent, I ordered mushrooms added. The ginger was a little overpowering, I would rename this Ginger beef. I feel like it needed a little more to it, maybe some mixed vegetables. The mushrooms I asked for were great. This dish is a little sweet, and not spicy, I don't know where the "flaming" in the name comes from. The Pad Thai was good, although not what I would normally expect from a Pad Thai. It wasn't particularly nutty, which I prefer. If you order mild it will have no spiciness at all, so be sure to order medium if you want some. The noodles were thinner, I think glass noodles, and reminded me of ramen. It was pretty good, I enjoyed it.

I liked the decor and the staff, I wanted to like the food. It's like going to get into a great looking hot tub and realizing the water is cold. I puzzled over the menu looking for a noodle dish, I am partial to noodles, but settled for the the peanut curry, I mean in a world of choices, the peanut curry seems like a pretty good bet. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the curry comes with noodles, but then come the first glitch in the experience when I find that the noodles are basically in one big lump at the bottom of the bowl. No Noodle lift, no rolling the noodles up into little bundles of delight, no long loud slurping portions that end up smacking you across your nose. Next while there is a good bite, it tastes green and too fresh, like they just threw the green chili at the last moment. The dish lacked depth, it just tasted like curry, like they didn't put a a lot of love or thought into it. It's not that it was bad, just a little sad... Sad curry. Not joyful curry or even wild curry, just regular curry. There are so many other places where the curry is like a wonderful tale of far off lands and mysterious sunsets. I have to wonder, are the cooks excited to be there? Are they passionate or are they just doing a job? I suppose If I was shopping next door at Tola Angkor Market (Great place!) I might give it another try, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

i dont know if its just a bad day for them or what, but the quality of the ingredients was god awful this time around. the last time i went to this place it was pretty good. but this time im surprised i ate as much as i did. the lettuce in the spring roll tastes like the kind they put in the "burgers" in elementary school lunchs. the mushrooms are bruised and taste very off. some pieces of the chicken were okay, but most of it tasted old or freezer burnt or something. and the onions are transparent and losing color, on top of there being the core of an onion in my tom kha. the peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls was a super lumpy and weird texture. and the crab fried rice was somehow super bland. the ingredients were definitely already on their way out when they were hitting the frying pan. either that or we were given dishes that were left out and re heated or somethin. on top of all the food tasting old (admittedly i shouldve taken a photo when we first got the order) my soup wasnt even all the way full when i got it. it was almost 2 inches off the top. over all, it was a shockingly disappointing experience after really enjoying it the first few times. maybe instead of saving money on old or perished ingredients, yall could just get fresher produce? it would make the pricing a lot more reasonable. we paid 50 dollars for our meal (crab fried rice, tom kha, and spring roll with shrimp) including tip. i couldve made it at home for half the price with fresher ingredients, and honestly i regret not doing just that. i dont think ill be going back. *edit* i now have a stomach ache :( ill update to let yall know if this becomes food poisoning.

Y'all, I just love this place. I usually order delivery, but I've also been in a few times and the atmosphere and the service are DIVINE. You can't go wrong with the noodles here. My favorite is the 62. Pad See Ew with chicken, extra noodles, medium spice. Pictured is that very dish that I ordered tonight, along with the charming and heartwarming message carefully drawn onto my lid. They make this food with love, y'all. Thank you to Ashley, Eve and...Min?...for capping of an INCREDIBLE day with this incredible meal and experience. I'm happy I live so close! P.S. This Pad See Ew is AMAAAAAAZING tonight!
