It's a easy walking trail with speculate views. Dogs are allowed on the trail but not in the beach. Try to get here early if you prefer a free parking spot.

The California coastal trail is one most picturesque walks along the Pacific Ocean. The paved Trail Winds it’s way along and Parallel to the Cliffs high above the Pacific Ocean. With the well groomed golf greens and Monterey Pines on one side and the ocean on the other is creating memories you won’t soon forget. It’s a very easy and enjoyable walk

This was an easy hike for me. The trail was paved and there weren’t any steep inclines. The view from the trail was mediocre. I had my most fun when I went down to the beach. There’s a lot of secluded rocky pools and streams away from the shoreline filled with hermits, sea snails, crabs, and tiny fishes. It was my first time experiencing a beach like that so I spent hours checking the pools out. I wish I would’ve brought wet boots and a net to catch a pet fishy. Great time!

Be prepared to fight a bit for a parking spot, but totally worth it for the view. I just can’t get enough of it and had to come back once in a while!

Yes!
Also free parking at the hotel (Ritz-Carlton). Just say you are for coastal trail. They have a few labled spots.
Yes, lots of bikes but you need to slow down and navigate around the many pedestrians
