Great multi use space. River has a stretch of sand, there’s a big off leash dog park and the entire area is dog friendly. Just keep an eye on your dog and make sure he or she is well behaved and leaving people alone

I've done lots of swimming here with my dog.
No. There are lovely waterfront walking paths that are posted as leash only, and the posted area to go without leash is NOT fenced, but every dog owner we've encountered has been friendly and understanding, even around our rambunctious pup.
Highly doubt it given how dry it is and that it's in the city.
I personally wouldn't get in the water here but dogs and kayaks were plenty on my last visit. As was a older couple swimming but it's a chill spot.

Yes I do see people fishing. Sometimes off the boat dock and sometimes just on the side of the river.
Along the water, smells happen with season changes. Nature. It’s a natural phenom.😊
