Very unappetizing atmosphere and our wine flights were served out of plastic cups. There are many other wineries out here that are much better than this one if you are looking for an experience.

Such an interesting winery and such great tastings. We chose individual flights - which Horton changes and themes routinely - and brought home several favorites. The grounds include plenty of picnic spaces and beautiful views.

Plenty of space, unique building, friendly service. That’s where the positives end. Notice I didn’t say anything about the wine? That’s intentional. With wines literally named “blueberry” and “cranberry” , the taste is about as complex as their names. If you want to drink alcoholic fruit juice, come here. If you want to drink wine, keep driving to barboursville, Keswick, or Reynard Florence. Guess one positive is that several wines cost under $20 a bottle which is hard to find in the local wine scene. But if you’re buying local wine based on price point you should just stay home and pick up a box of yellowtail.
