Yes, Centre St Station is closest.
A parking lot is conveniently located across the street from the museum at Centre and Cathedral Streets. The parking lot is staffed by an attendant from LAZ Parking. Museum members are eligible for reduced rates and should stop by the Visitor Services Desk to get parking tickets validated. There are several other lots close to the museum and metered street parking is available.
Admission is free. Donations are welcomed and suggested, since you'll be pleasantly surprised by the collections.

From the website: Children's Amenities. Strollers are welcome in the museum. Most of the restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations and a limited number of strollers are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis at the Visitor Information Desk. For safety reasons, large diaper bags and back baby carriers must be checked in the coat room; however, frontal carriers may be used. When you need a break or if the kids need a place to unwind, the Family Art Center is a kid-friendly place to play. Nursing mothers should ask at the Visitor Information Desk for a convenient place to nurse your child.
The Walters Art Museum is open Wednesday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and the following holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Observed, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
