On Saturday July 9, 2022, I happened to be working near Muttville and noticed their adoption tent in front of their building. The staff were so sweet to the pets and visibly caring. The organization will be receiving financial support from me based on their mission for the care of senior pets. Thank you.

This place is awesome!! The staff totally care about the dogs and love them and treat them as their own. Such wonderful people, I cannot say enough good things about this place. ITS GREAT!!! Thank you for helping all these sweet babies. I went on a tour here, and its like home for these sweeties.

Does outstanding work to save dogs who need extra help finding homes. Muttville spends considerable resources providing vet care to dogs whose medical needs had not been properly met in the past (dental cleanings, heart meds, etc.). When you adopt a Muttville dog, you save a life of a dog who may have faced a grim outlook at a rural shelter.

While assisting a friend look for the perfect canine family member to add to their family we happen to stop by and check out their adoption Fair. The environment was really warm and welcoming. I love the fact that there was a lot of volunteers there who were not just interacting with the dogs but very eager and polite to answer any questions about any of the dogs up for adoption.

My brother is disabled, his dog is getting old and neglected. Although my brother LOVE'S his Alfonso. I don't think he able to care for his dog anymore. We'd appreciate it if you can find someone to love him.
Yes Muttville adoption events are Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4pm. Come in and meet the mutts!
If you go to Muttville.org and fill out the form, someone should contact you. We always need volunteers!
Yes, that's what I did. They will accept unopened packages
Hello Beth, We do have dogs adopted out of state, but we ask that the adopter comes to San Francisco to meet their new dog and arrange transport home. Kind of tough right now with Covid, but hopefully in the near future.
Most rescues Can transport to you, check Muttville, perhaps Rocket Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs, or a Breed Specific rescue group
Tell your granddaughter to take care of the dog please.
Muttville pulls senior dogs from all over the Bay area but it's a case by case basis and (partly) depends on how many fosters they have
Muttville is a senior dog rescue. Maybe try SPCA
I'm sure that there are... Good 🤞
11-4 Monday - Friday 16th Street and Alabama/rescue row
Unfortunately Muttville does not provide transport so you would either need to fly or drive to meet and pick up your new pup!
Check with muttville, They will honor your wishes.
No. If you didn't find a compatible dog you don't have to take a dog. You can come back another day or not at all. Happy searching
You bet! A lot of the dogs are seniors themselves. Bring him down to meet a few of them. You'll see how they interact. Muttville gives you a summary of the people who've cared for any of the dogs you like. We adopted an 11 year old Chihuahua. Mellow guy who is house trained and just happy to be around us. We live that guy!
HI Victoria - please follow up with your vet to ask about treatment moving forward. Thank you for loving Bradley!!
They only have senior dogs. SFSPCA is next door and they have a lot of different animals so I'd try them
If there OP it's asking if the dog is one that muttville might adopt the general answer is yes I believe
My mother passed away with 3 dogs. Part of her wishes were that they would not be put down. Muttville was the only place we found who would promise that they would be kept. But please remember that it costs a lot to care for dogs, especially if they can't find a new home. So be willing to give them a good donation to cover their expenses. You do need to make an appointment before you go there.
Many kinds of dogs at Muttville, varies depending on the day you're there, like any rescue agency. Keep going back till you find one you like.
They do not have any Boston terriers. Try checking with a terrier rescue in your local area
A black male lab was found on Kentucky ave in woodland ca and has been picked up by the animal shelter in woodland
Really ? 14 years old !! Keep that precious life happy to the end !!
What Robyn said. They are a great organization! Contact Muttville. They're great. Sorry you have to let your dogs go. :-(
