My granddaughter left for college several years ago and left her darling pit bull Kayla behind. Kayla is getting old and needs someone to love and care for her. My mother is 82 and cannot adequately care for this lovable dog. Can you help.

Tell your granddaughter to take care of the dog please.

You can have your daughter step up and be responsible or you can get a new apartment that allows dogs?

Andrew Johnson | Aug 27, 2018

Thanks so much. My heart is hurting for her. She's such a sweetheart. My apartments don't allow pets. I keep her from time to time, but my apartment manager has caught me and is threatening to evict if he sees her again.

Try MutVille they will be able to take her or there's a place in Petaluma called Lilly

Andrew, you'll need to contact Muttville directly or you can contact the SFSPCA to see if they'll take your granddaughter's dog as owner surrender

I think (from what ive seen there) this would be a good fit. Go visit !
