Owner was awesome To deal with stayed several days. Beds comfortable and heat and air worked well. Train coming by every hr is only bad thing about the stay.

I stayed at the Redwood Inn for two nights. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I appreciated having a mini fridge in the room to keep my water and drinks cold. There is a microwave available in the commons area. The ice maker wasn't functioning correctly so the owner Troy brought some ice in if anybody in our group needed it. He was also very helpful directing our photography group to finding some great spots in the area to photograph landscapes, etc. The trains are loud going through all night, but I found that wearing some ear plugs helped diminish the sound significantly and make it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.

Nice little very unpopulated town. The hotel is old fashion but very clean. Never even got to see the owner... talked to him on the phone he said he would turn on the ac leave the key in the door for me. If I wanted to pay cash leave money I'n the room and leave the key inside.

They are working on upgrading the property, but it was clean and a cute little place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was friendly, very nice. Nearby is a little grocery store with more friendly staff. The motel is next to the train tracks and we heard trains going by throughout the night.
