I was here around 2:20 today. The African American older woman both of them actually have no customer service integrity. They shouldn’t be working here with those horrible attitudes.

Convenient parking, yet always BUSY station. SAFE? well, yes & NOT. Plenty of beggars asking for money, lots of drunk & drug addicts around, not much security, lots of garbage every where. If you do not want to see "weird" people around do not park there. Moderate to High theft & other safety issues zone. Poor neighborhoods around. Yet convenient parking, great place to commute and transfer, but horrible when it comes to crisis, if you park there and something huge happens (like homicide) good luck, scary to walk there at day or night, dangerous. Often close because of riots and other known massive disturbance.

Good BART Station, but crowded and in a shady part of town. I have commuted from this BART Station a lot. I had the pleasure of taking a certain great internet company's luxury commuter buses to work from an area near this BART Station. Aside from that, there is plenty of parking at this station, as well as some in the surrounding area. The station is near a major freeway entrance, making it a great place to park and commute in and out of San Francisco while your ride awaits you in the East Bay, where parking is not just a myth, like it is in the City. The one downside worth noting is that the surrounding area is a little bit sketchy. I have personally been coerced and followed when walking to my car with an electronics bag on my shoulders. So be mindful.

If you park on the street, make sure don't leave ANYTHING of value in site . But most times it's safe.
Free parking is tight but thrs paid parking tht isn't very much an just cheaper then worring about the safety of the whole thing. If yr driving from far away for a shirt visit it should be fine.
You also can take the Pittsburg Bay point train to 19th st and transfer to a richmond train there. The richmond trains from san francisco stop running around 8 or 9 pm so you have to catch the ones that run from fremont where the train lines cross at 19th avenue instead
