Okay BART station. I think there's probably a better name than "Lake Merritt" possible for this station, which is closer to several more Oakland landmarks than to the lake.

A lot of people skip the gates at this station. I find *tons* of one-way tickets on the ground and in the station. (one way tickets are the minimum value only scanned in one direction) This makes BART *a lot* more expensive for everyone else. Otherwise, this station is clean, the people who work here are friendly, and I have seen no other issues.

Bart lost and found is located at 12th St station. Their info is on Bart.gov. Any lost and found items turned in at the station is only there for a few days before being taken to 12th St.

Oak and Madison both run parallel to the stations. 9th St is also a good bet as well.
