I'd like to thank Guy for helping me out when I got stuck with a flat tire in Oakland. I had originally waited 2+ hours waiting for my insurance to come through and assist, but they never did so I called this Towing company. Quick and efficient, thank you Guy.

If I could give a negative star review to my experience with this company, I would. I never ever write reviews of companies and I am so enraged by how they treated me that I am writing my first negative review ever. My car broke down on the highway about 20 miles from my home. I called Silverline because they had a 4-star rating and I was stuck in the car with my kids on the side of the road far from home. The woman I spoke to told me the tow truck would arrive in 45 minutes. It obviously didn't show up, and an emergency tow service showed up with a police car and towed me to a "safe location" under an overpass in a scary part of town. It was my fault for allowing them to leave me there, but I ended up sitting in that "safe location" for another almost 3 hours waiting for the tow truck. I kept calling the company to update my location and ask where the tow truck was. They kept saying they were finishing up a call and another 45 minutes away. 45 must be their magic number because they were always somehow 45 minutes away. I ended up waiting 4 hours for this tow truck and by that point had decided to just have my car towed to a mechanic around the corner. I was originally quoted $150 at 1:30pm to tow my car from Oakland to Concord. At 5:30 the quote was now much higher considering traffic, which is why I decided to just get towed to a mechanic in Oakland. I didn't realize that the mechanic was almost literally one parking lot away from where I was (I didn't get out of the car because of the scary location in front of a homeless encampment). They tried to charge me the original $150 to literally take me through a parking lot. Once I realized how close we were I tried to talk them down and ended up getting a little bit of money shaved off, but I got the runaround from the tow mechanic and several different people over the phone. I feel like they preyed on my vulnerable situation as a woman in a town I was unfamiliar with and also as a stranded motorist. I ended up paying because there was nothing else I could do but I have never been so mad as to cuss out a stranger for screwing me over like they did. They made me wait 4 hours and screwed me on the tow fee and also did not deal with me in a professional manner. Never again and shame on you.

Jimmy was the man! He brought the perfect truck for the job because my car was stuck in the carport and I needed it out to make room for my new car, could not get AAA to tow it because they do not tow to places like pick n pull. He helped to push it out and everything. I really appreciate all of his help his kind words and his humor. I was frustrated with the other companies I called but then I found him and he took care of the situation. Thank you.

Matt and his partner were very professional and provided excellent service today when picking up my truck. I was very nervous and upset and they kept me calm and assured me they would get my truck home safe and they did. Awesome service
