The call center at Rocket Towing pressures stressed out people to hand over their billing information immediately. They state that you won't be charged until service is provided... but then state that the cancellation fee is the full amount of the service. They say that it will be two hours until someone can be to your location... but then that they have to charge the full fee because someone is "already on their way". Don't buy it. When pressed on who was dispatched, when, and where, they hung up on me. When I called back, they admitted no one had yet been dispatched, and refunded my money. They wasted almost an hour of my time on what was already an incredibly busy and stressful day, and would have taken my money too if I weren't persistent about it.

I contacted the company to have my motorcycle towed from Oakland to San Leandro. I explained to the dispatcher that the motorcycle had been damaged because I was involved in an accident, and the front fender is smashed into the front tire and pushing would be difficult. I was told the driver would meet me in 45 minutes. After 1 hour I called for an update, the dispatcher advised it would be 20 minutes. Fast forward to 2.5 hours later, the driver called and said he was outside. I walked outside, no tow truck or driver. I called him back, he was given the wrong address. Finally, he arrived with a flatbed tow truck but didn't not have a motorcycle dolly (fender is pushed into the front tire). A friend at work had to assist with moving the motorcycle (I couldn't because I was injured from the accident). The Road King is finally secured and ready to go. We arrived at the location and needed assistance from a stranger to down load and push the motorcycle. The driver was apologetic and professional, but the overall service sucked. I want to mention that the truck was not from the company I called and it was out of Union City. I picked this company because they stated they were located in Oakland.
