Yes, this is a 5 star BART station. Every time I've gone, the bathrooms have been clean. There is greenery across the street, which makes one want to hang out. There are food truck days to taste different cuisine. The bus depot is self contained and easy to navigate through (the signage is clear). There is a store on bottom of the platform - you can buy pizza, quench your thirst, or enjoy a light snack. This station is centrally located. If you're ambitious you can even walk downtown. There are trails and other parks nearby. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The only con - congested. This station's parking garage fills up rather quickly. This station was recently retrofitted, so there is ample lighting, etc..

I commute from this station. Parking no longer free - $3/day for the garage (which does fill up quickly), but there are lots and spots all around. Clean station although only a few sets of stairs up/down to the central lobby so it gets crowded getting on/off during rush hours. Bike lockers are a huge plus. Located right off the Iron Horse trail, $0.05/hour for completely secure lockers - just make sure to get your BikeLink card somewhere. Walkable to a couple restaurants and coffee places. The little store is decent. On Fridays there are food trucks after 5, which are awesome when you get back after a long week.

Clean, well lit station. On commuter days, regular parking tends to fill up before 8:30am and reserved spots open up after 10am but fill up before 11am. There's also a non-BART parking lot right next to the station parking structure that's a little more expensive but usually has availability.

Parking fills up quickly but that's typical of most stations I suppose. Traffic can be congested especially in the mornings. Good place to start a commute into the city when you catch a train that originates here. Sure way to get a seat.

There is a mini concession store on site, and I'm quite sure you can eat on the premises. However, once you enter into the BART area (pass through the fare gates), food and drink are prohibited.
No WiFi then? Oh, man...

You can get off BART at 12th City Center and walk a few blocks.
The 1st train going toward SFO leaves at 4:47am every 12 to 15min. There is also a train that starts at Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre at 6:12am
Take a southbound train to MacArthur, transfer to an orange line train, and transfer again at coliesum to OAK train.
