Really bad service. I took our dog for grooming and they did not do the grooming. They said our Maltese dog would not let them groom. We take her grooming regularly and never any groomers complained. First and last!!

The people working here know nothing about live animals. They don't ask any questions about experience or care if you know what you're doing. I watched one of the employees cleaning the conure enclosure and he just opened the back with quick jerky movements and the poor bird got so frightened it fell hard straight to the floor because it's wings were clipped. These employees don't care or know about proper housing or food- the chemical colored pellets and sunflower filled seed in the conure enclosure was a huge indicator of this. Employees are trained to sell the live animals just like any other item in the store. The poor beautiful chinchilla was "50% off"...like a toy or other inanimate object. Not to mention the poor disfigured and faint colored betta fish in small cups all floating near the surface because of the incorrect housing. PetCo should not be selling live animals. Please don't buy any animals from their stores so they hopefully stop offering them for sale. All they care about is money.
