It's a relatively small farmers market - there are only a few vendors that are selling produce from the farm. The rest are selling some food truck items or "eco" goods. Anyway I bought the crispiest lettuce of my life here that somehow stayed fresh for 2 weeks, so that's a big plus.

More market than farmers, but the few farms that were there had a decent selection. If you're looking for a bite, though, they have several vendors with very good grub.

Really great produce. Fresh and in season. Getting there early means you get more selection. The food stands are also really good!

This Farmers Market at Bixby Park is on Tuesdays from 3-8 pm. It closes early, around 630 or 7, in the winter. There is also a Farmers Market at this same location on Saturdays from 9 or 10 am until 2 or 3 pm. The actual market is in the section of the park surrounded by First St, Second St, Cherry Ave, and Junipero Ave.
