A 5/5 for incredible value, accommodating front desk folks, cleanliness, pillow variety (seriously important), safety/security, and overall accommodations. This has been my go-to since 2007, and will continue to be my go-to Santa Monica accommodations. I just had a long stay there. I appreciated that the staff put us in a quiet room away from the street, as I had requested in the online reservation form. I've never been disappointed when I have what I believe is a reasonable request. I consider this something of a home away from home. Grateful for this great value that I can continue to trust to be clean. Other great aspects: excellent sink/bath drainage, plenty of very hot water (never took a cold shower), roomy mini fridge, microwave, some rooms have keurig coffee makers, comfy beds, excellent air conditioner, safety (gotta have a valid room key to get into ANY door and to make elevator work), a quiet neighborhood (unless perhaps you're in a room along SM Blvd, but there aren't many of those), AMPLE parking. Covered parking avail on first come first served. Pool area is now much more inviting since a local artist painted beautiful geometric designs in different shades of calming blue on the wall surrounding the pool. Pool is excellently maintained! I have stayed at this location before, which was the reason for my return. I liked how the pier and ocean Blvd. is straight down the road. Ubers can easily get us there and back. The rooms are nice regardless of the outdated outside look. Love the key requirement to go up elevators and the lock leading to all the rooms section.

One of the coolest Comfort Inn locations around. Staff was super friendly, didn’t bother us yet stayed visible throughout the stay. The whole place was clean and I saw them cleaning the property daily. My room was cozy, property is a couple miles from the beach, amazing restaurants all around. They don’t take security lightly so you will feel safe here during your stay, no doubt. Had a bunch of family stay with me here for a wedding, including my elderly grandparents. Everyone out of the dozen of us loved the place. Sincerely thankful for the staff and undoubtedly will be back in 2023.

Our stay at the comfort inn during December 2021 was nothing short of excellent. The front desk staff greeted me and my family as soon as we walked through the door and checking in was extremely efficient. We were handed the keys to our room and Ryan (front desk staff) walked us all to the room, helping with our load of baggage. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious with every amenity available (coffee maker, safe, microwave, mini fridge, AC/heater). It’s located in the most convenient and accessible area surrounded by restaurants, grocery stores and sights to see within walking distance or short car ride (very easy for late night snacks and coffee runs if needed!). There are also ample parking spaces available on grounds and by the street which was a necessity for our family’s stay with two vehicles. The staff was also very friendly and said hello every time in passing. They were ready to help for any questions we had and handled everything thoroughly and professionally. Other guests were also courteous and quiet. Overall, one of the most pleasant stays we’ve had the privilege to experience, given our fair share of travel around the world and throughout California. We highly recommend staying here!
