This is one of our favorite properties to stay! The location is perfect, staff are top notch and it is just a wonderful place overall!! Have stayed here multiple times with my family and I honestly can't even think of staying anywhere else. If you're going to LA, want to be near the beach, like food, love shopping and want to be treated well, then you have to stay here!!

I travel a lot and am willing to grant hotels a lot of benefit of the doubt but this place is truly terrible, especially for the price. First off we booked a King bed room, which despite arriving after their checkin time of 3 pm wasn’t ready, so we were out in a smaller room with 2 full beds just to get checked in, and were told we could switch tomorrow. Next day we were told that’s not possible so ended up in that room for the full stay. It gets much better. Over the course of a four day stay, our room was made up ONCE. Literally didn’t have our trash emptied for 3 days til it was overflowing the room, no fresh towels, nothing. For $400 a night, plus a hidden 10% resort fee, plus $52 a night parking the service level here was a JOKE. On top of all this we were in a room overlooking their event venue (aka the front parking/valet area) where an entire half of the hotel tower gets bombarded by deafening music until 1AM. 2 of our 4 night stay there were events where our room was literally shaking from the noise. Final nail in the coffin is the hotel isn’t even nice! Room are small and massively outdated. Stay literally anywhere else!

My wife and I had a great two night stay here. The place is beautiful, staff was excellent, and you couldn’t hope for a better location. We flew in early and our room wasn’t ready yet, but the front desk let us use the spa bathrooms to change and clean up, then held our luggage while we took the complimentary bikes out for a ride on the beach path. Big thanks to Antoine for helping us coordinate that ahead of time! Our room kept magically tidying itself up and fresh waters kept appearing throughout the trip. Top notch service and everyone was friendly as well. We’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in Santa Monica!

Location was great but the rest of my stay was horrid. I encountered 2 very nice people during my stay. The gentleman who checked me in and the gentleman who took my luggage. Other than that I couldn’t use any of the amenities. I was looked down by staff and disregarded during my stay. They would attend the Caucasian people who would be standing behind me and ignored me and my family completely. They offer spa amenities to guests with your stay. However, when we inquired about the services, the staff were extremely rude by saying that those were only available for guest. I had been staying at this hotel for over 3 nights paying $1000+ a night. If I couldn’t afford this place for my family, I wouldn’t be there. My husband couldn’t even work out comfortably as another guest kept asking if he worked there and making comments like “I didn’t know they allowed staff to use the facility.” After he told him I don’t work here, he then kept asking what he does for a living. The restaurant hostess extremely rude. Never again. I have stayed in many many other resorts, hotels, bungalows and they are 100 times more comfortable with better furniture, and cleaner rooms. Not Worth your money!!!!!!
