Recently moved to Hemet from Corona last year, what a disappointment this library is. Unhelpful staff and when they do respond to questions most of the staff are patronizing and/or answer in internal library speak. Signing up was a joke, they did not list my email even when I gave it 2 xs to 2 different staff, thus incurring over due charges ( they did rectify it after I complained). Have never been phoned or emailed to let me know "hold books" are there available @least 5 times, and when I asked to see my "reserved/held books the staff stated we don't have the computer capabilities to pull reserved/held books from customer account, I've held so many books I don't remember them all and are never notified or they never come in, I GAVE on that process! The library is depressing, when do the kids even go visit they have such ridiculous visiting times not conducive for school children. Its almost as if the staff want to have the PUBLIC LIBRARY DEAD AS A MORGUE

Good library that has good internet but does not have enough power outlets that are easy to get to and not enough tables (with power) for laptops. Closed 3 days a week which makes it useless for some and the hours are short compared to other libraries. Post pandemic opening up this library is closed except to only check out books where other libraries have fully opened. Very noisy library if you are there to study.

Best library and staff EVER!! Who would have thought that this little city could run and maintain such a nice library? This place is excellent i highly recommend you take advantage of this local gem.

Nice library with good selection of books. It's kept quite clean inside but I have to give it a low score because it smells of urine all around the outside of the building. They obviously have problems with transients hanging around (particularly after hours) and using the property as a toilet. The city needs to take some of those funds that they receive for accepting ex-cons/ transients and use those funds to hire night security.

Yes. From 9am to 6pm, just like on Friday
Not free. Yes they can help you.
There's a large room upstairs. Can hold probably 100 people. They had a wedding reception there and I understand the room was transformed and beautiful.
Correct answer: Open Wednesday and Thursday 9 am to 7 pm Thursday and Friday 9 am - 6 pm
I'm retired but the library is open from 1 to 5 pm.
you would have to call the library and ask
I really have no idea. All I use it for is to pick up books from the outside machine. Call them or send email.
I think you could use the computers for a limited time.. access to the library is limited to certain days..go on their website and find out.
Not sure if the library is open right at this moment with covid-19
Yes.
Books are free besides the latw fee, 25 cents per book per day i think. Free library cards but there are replacement fees
A dime each sheet. You need to swipe your library card if u want to print from a computer.
Not online, yet. But, this is currently being worked on. Til then, they do have a lot of used books for sale.

Their printer is black and white only. But staples or any postal service shop (like UPS Store) can print color.

Yes. From library website: 9-6
There's a way to do it after clicking on the book under your account. You can renew it.
Yes they have DVD rentals. You can rent 30 at a time. If you're new to town, you need something printed with your address on it. They will still let you rent but not as many at first until you provide proof.
According to the online library catalog, the library does not own the 1956 title High, Wide and Lonesome: Growing Up on the Colorado Frontier. You may want to contact the library about the possibility of borrowing it through interlibrary loan.
They used to. Call them to see.
