Dr Alva is simply the best at his profession, his knowledge of symptoms and medications are second to none. He is kind and supportive, and I always feel positive and better in general after speaking with him. Also, his assistant Daniella is always thorough and available-which is such a blessing. Waited 2 weeks for my appointment only to be called and told at last minute that they had a "scheduling error" and I would have to wait another 2 weeks.. Even after I confirmed the appointment on 3 seperate occasions during the 2 weeks. For a mental health facility they like to play with people's heads a lot.

Dr. Alva is the contracted psychiatrist for the Rehab I just left. He will not be my Dr. going forward. I presented him with a dilemma in mediation that I thought would be hard to deal with. This Dr. came up with a solution that covered all the bases and then some. He is highly regarded by all who know of him. He is also very personable and actually cares very much about his patients.
