On vacation in Williamsburg VA we usually get a bushel of steamed crabs from a local crab place, however this year they sold old called at least 6 other places within a 5mile radius and they were all sold out ..... So we googled steamed crabs near me! Called Captain Johnny's Crab House, it is about 30 minutes north of where we are staying but worth the adventure on VA back roads! We bought 1/2bushel of males and they were very meaty and tasty... Will definitely come back .

I paid $130 for a half bushel of #1 males already steamed.. that tasted like they were cooked about 3 hours earlier!! Not to mention the only #1s in the bunch was the 3 on the top ! The rest of them was #2s. I don’t appreciate being sold something I didn’t pay for. I would have taken the whole box back to West Point if it wasn’t pouring down raining and I drove from Richmond to get them. Trust and believe I won’t be going back!! I expect to get what I pay for!!

Was there recently for 1/2 bushel of cook that was done pretty fast to have cooked them a lot of the crabs were hollow an looked like warmed up leftover, I been a few times never this bad
