Rooster Cafe has always served delicious breakfast. Love that they have different potato options, almost all breakfast joints opt for one style of potato. Price is very reasonable compared to many others whose breakfast plates are nearing $20. They have also fixed the no parking situation since last I've been there. Before parking was a mission to find but they have added more. It's a great place for breakfast if you are in Costa Mesa!

It's good food, but not worth the wait. On two separate occasions, we had to wait 30+ minutes for our food. That would be reasonable if the food was fancy, but this is a small step up from typical diner fare. I literally ordered 2 pancakes with sausage and an egg. I'm sorry, but that and their other menu items shouldn't take that long to make. Skip this place if you're in a hurry.

Avo toast was very skimpy..good taste though. Omlet was amazing but you need toast with it. The food is good in general.

Came for breakfast Sunday morning, and everything was delicious! Iced latte, Mesa Cristo, chocolate chip pancakes, and breakfast quesadilla. Would highly recommend this little spot!

Don't know buddy. But now in days, you can't even go to a fast food restaurant without reaching the $8-$9 for combos. So I have a feeling this price range will be the norm from now on for a single $.
It's busy on the weekends for breakfast and weekdays during lunch. Weekends it's best to be there early or call in your order if picking up.
