The wait staff is friendly: that’s the only positive. It was clear they get lots of repeat business from regulars, which is surprising based on our experience. Where do I begin? The meal service was excruciatingly slow, and we didn’t order anything complicated. The food was terrible. Mozzarella in the caprese salad was grainy and the tomatoes were unripe. (Seriously, it’s summer, how hard is it to find ripe tomatoes?) Shrimp and sun dried pasta was flavorless. For the wait time (40 minutes from order til plates delivered) and the poor quality meal, they should have paid us $65, not including 18% we tipped). Go elsewhere.

Came into Farmville for the first time today and looked up top restaurants - Tripadvisor's Top 10 list was the first thing I looked at, and it had this restaurant listed as #2. I figured we could give it a shot for a simple lunch that likely had outdoor seating next to the water. First impressions on getting out to the patio was that there were a lot of food scraps and trash on the floor. Ok, not a big deal if a little off putting. 2nd thoughts were that smoking was allowed on the patio and a lot of it was wafting our way. After seeing another group get up and move to another table without saying anything to their waiter, we told our waiter we'd be doing the same to get some distance from the smoke. We were told they have an odd policy where certain outdoor tables can't have people sitting at them unless there is a party of 6 or more involved - even though the individual tables we were looking at moving to had 2 to 3 chairs sat around them... AND parties of 1 or 2 were seated at other similar tables. OK, strange and annoying, but whatever. We switch to a better table and our food arrives a little after. We ordered two separate burgers - one was ordered medium rare which came out well-cooked. Mine was ordered medium and came out quite well-done. The fries were nothing special, just some frozen things thrown in the fryer. Also, a weird point of contention was that the burger pictured above didn't come with onion. It wasn't mentioned on the menu looking back so it's my fault, but I honestly can't remember getting the "plain burger" on a menu anywhere that doesn't come with LTO. Overall, the place wasn't very clean (there were roughly 6-8 employees there at the time and about 20 customers both inside and outside), the smoking was off putting, the outdoor seating policy was VERY odd, and we left feeling like we'd basically just had a disappointing meal at Applebee's.

Everything was honestly great :-) Portions were huge ! Our server Kris was awesome and very attentive ! They had their seasonal cider drink 😍 We loved the food. Started with the crab dip, comes with lots of bread. (Bread was so warm and very fresh) Roasted red pepper Crab soup was so yummy 😋 The app was so filling and our entrees were HUGE I got full just looking at the plate 😂 But we got the chicken parm (it comes with pasta) & the shrimp and broccoli Alfredo. I probably wouldn’t get the broccoli next time, the bigger ones didn’t taste that great, but the rest was good. Both entrees came with a side salad! We both got Caesar salads, barely had any dressing 😐 but it tasted good. Deff recommend this place! Especially if you’re from out of town and don’t know where to go. Glad I came here.

We stopped in for lunch while shopping for furniture at Green front and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was awesome at the bar and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and they had a wide assortment of beer on tap. What really impressed me is they have ice cold glasses for the beers. They have a large outdoor deck so I'm nice days you probably have a pretty good view.
