We were a couple of vacationers with a sleeping 4 yo. Decided to try to have a meal while the squirt was asleep. Drinks: two margaritas and a mojito were good. Consistent blend on margaritas and pre-blended mint/lime for mojitos (they were saving time and it was barely noticeable). Fairly priced. 4 of 5. Food: rib app was nothing to rave about, but I would order it again without a doubt. Risotto was delicious (al dente in a bit less than creamy bind) and the way scallops were broiled to the dark brown without drying the inside should be in a textbook. Pasta with pickled Italian fixins was good. Fish and chips was spot on with thin crunchy batter and freshest haddock (standard coleslaw and cute tartar version). Our neighbors’ pork chop looked perfectly cooked. 4.7 of 5. Service: our waitress quickly understood the “let’s eat before the kid wakes up” situation and things came out flying. Nearby folks didn’t seem to be waiting either and place was 80% full on the sitting. Seemed effortless and efficient. 5 of 5.

This was by far the best dining experience I have had in OOB. The food was amazing. Flavor profile was on point. Our waitress, Megan, was the most attentive, happy and friendly person. She gave recommendations, shared stories and made sure we had the best time. I would 100% reccomend this establishment.

Big Daddy's does not fail to rate highest of satisfaction each year we dine. Fast friendly service and amazing food, every item we choose! Tonight we had the mussels, brussel sprouts, pork 2 ways, catfish and lobster rolls. Good beer selection. Arrive early so no wait. We don't mind spending for a fabulous meal. The mussels photo was after the family grabbed some shells and garlic bread off the plate. Too fast for me! Everything start to finish was delicious, sauce on the tender pork, flavorful fresh veg, spicy andouille, cornbread crusted catfish, tender lobster in buttery roll....

Excellent food and friendly service. Sat at the bar, busy Tuesday night after the 4th. We were lucky enough to place an order for food, apparently they didn't get all their deliveries (and I think the kitchen was backed up); we may have been one of the last that did. Shrimp and grits was fantastic, so flavorful and the grits were light. Seafood risotto, had a lovely presentation and he said it was excellent. Would love to go back again and try a burger at the bar.
