My husband and I were initially scheduled to get married in September of 2020, but we ended up postponing due to COVID until October of 2021. From contract signing through postponement and leading up to the final day, Joanna was a dream to work with. I was planning the wedding from New York, so I was really scared about all the details and worried because I wasn't able to come see things in person. The whole time Joanna was super helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed to have a wonderful day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, no matter which season. We had our wedding right as the leaves were at peak foliage and it was beautiful. It was a little chilly the day of, but we were able to have the propane heaters running underneath the pavilion and all the guests had a great time. The sound system is really good, and it's so convenient to have the ceremony and reception in one place. The only caveat is that the pavilion is kind of isolated from anything else to do on the weekends except maybe some walking and hiking. However, this is compensated for in the price. You will be hard pressed to find a better financial deal with the offerings and capacity of the Lake Pavilion. GREAT if you are on a budget, and in my opinion you don't lose out on anything by picking this venue over something more expensive. Thanks Joanna, for everything!

This venue was beautiful and made all of our wedding dreams come true. It’s the perfect size for an intimate wedding. It was much colder than expected on our wedding day, but we used the sides on the pavilion and the venue provided us with space heaters! It was cozy inside and the view of the lake was beautiful! We had so many compliments from our guest.

We finally were able to celebrate our married at Carolyn Baldwin Lake Pavilion in April. Joanna was so wonderful in planning and helping us reschedule our wedding due to Covid. She provided a lot of helpful information that made our day run smoothly. We could not have asked for a better venue! The venue is breathtaking. It was absolutely beyond anything I had envisioned. I would recommend this venue to any couple that looking for an oasis to celebrate their day!

We had my daughter's wedding here this past weekend. The road into the Pavilion was lined with maintenance vehicles but eventually when you got to the end of the road you were in a large parking lot (crushed stone) with a pavilion overlooking a lake with a fountain. It was quite beautiful. Decorated with lights, chandelier, small round "Chinese lanterns", all which were already set up at the venue, you really didn't have to decorate much at all. In the photos, you can see some table decor and table displays, which were provided by the client, but the venue provided the tables, chairs, and rented tablecloths. Joanna, the owner, was extremely helpful the day of the ceremony and during rehearsal (which we were able to do on-site since there wasn't a wedding that day). She helped us do the sound check on the microphones, got us an extra cooler, and added tulle fabric in a couple places in the reception pavilion, and helped us devise a contingency plan in case it rained (which was forecasted). Plus she answered every question we had in a helpful manner. We also used her for the bouquets, boutonnieres, flowers for the arch on the pier, and greenery for the tables. Very beautiful and well done. There were two air-conditioned individual restrooms which included a shower, I believer. Plus a couple extra porta-potties if needed. There was also a separate building with a small air-conditioned dressing room perfect for 5-6 (bride & bridesmaids) to hang out before the ceremony. As a bonus, Joanna had the restrooms and dressing room stocked with things that someone might need during the day (tampons, pins, hair spray, etc...). The weather looked iffy but held out for the ceremony. It downpoured for about an hour during the reception, but Joanna had added extra length to the Pavilion using a tent extension on the side that typically has the most rain enter. There were absolutely no leaks when it was teeming with rain, and Joanna even helped us pull the food tables in from the side that rain was entering. All in all, I was highly impressed and pleased. Thank you!

Hey Tammy! There are a number of accommodations in the area, including nice hotels, B&B’s, cabins, and properties for rent by owner (such as Airbnb and VRBO etc). As far as cabins, there’s High Bridge Cabins, Bear Creek Lake State Park has a number of cabins, and Sandy River Adventure Park has some cabins as well. We also have a lake house available on the other side of the lake for people who are interested (more info is on our website (www.CarolynBaldwinLakePavilion.com) under the tab “The Lake House” (https://carolynbaldwinlakepavilion.com/the-lake-house). If you’d like more detailed info on accomodations, on our website there is a tab “Client Resources” that has button that takes you to a list of local accomodations (https://carolynbaldwinlakepavilion.com/local-vendors).
