A family own a ran restaurant. Very accommodating with any request we had. The food came out hot and delighted our tastebuds. They serve you with a nice size bowl or rice and if you need more they have no problem with giving you more.

The food was tasty but not special. They brought very little rice at first but replenished with much more when we ran out and asked for more for no additional cost, so that was good. They charge for the naan. Overall, the portions were just about sufficient and service average. Bathroom was very clean although the carpet right at the entrance to the restaurant needs some good shampooing. I have no complaints but wouldn’t go back.

Indian food is generally a hit or miss venture, with mostly misses in this country. Every now and again you find a place that is everything that Indian food should be; this is that place. The food is delicately complex, cooked to perfection. Vegetarian options are phenomenal, as was the chicken tandoori. The staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere good for most occasions. Next time we’re in Richmond, we will definitely stop here again.

The workers were very nice to me, constantly clearing my table of unused dishes, and always keeping me with fresh water. They questioned often if everything was going well which it was. The food was outstanding. I’ve been to more Indian places than I could count and this has been the best by far. Worth a try for locals or travelers!
