My friend made a reservation since February for this past Wednesday, June 15. We were supposed to stay there for two nights to celebrate his cousin’s wedding. Once we go to the hotel we were told that they overbooked and had to cancel our reservation. They stated that there was no contact information but as we all know, an email is always needed to book a reservation. The hotel didn’t care about the inconvenience this created. We have never experienced this from any hotel we have stayed in.

I am not usually one to leave a review but after reading about the other horror experiences I just want to confirm what others have posted. I booked a 2 night stay a month ago through Expedia for a wedding this weekend. When I arrived, like others posted on here, they told me they overbooked and canceled my room. I drove from 2 states over and at no point in the last month did I receive any communication about the cancellation. The staff told me nothing they could do and that I did not give them contact information so they couldn't reach out. I wasn't leaving without a receipt of the cancellation so I had evidence for Expedia to refund. And guess what was on the receipt that they printed for me, maybe 2 breaths after saying I didn't give them my contact information? My email address! Lowest amount of care I've ever seen and I work for a hospitality company. In a good location but BEWARE OF THE RISK before you book.

I had a nice time at this hotel. The majority of the staff was nice and courteous. There were no issues with the room (beds were not the very comfy). I did not give a 4 star because the front desk on staff around 9:30Pm seemed to have an attitude (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name). We (my entire family) are members with the Marriott every time we travel we get complimentary snack and beverages. When I inquired about it and that seems to have bothered her. Imagine being at the front desk with your newborn asking for water and the staff replying as if they could careless. Very disappointing! I’m not going to let this unfortunate situation dissuade me from booking here in the future however it is unlikely I will return to this particular location.

We stayed in the corner king and it was excellent. The young lady at check-in (Shanea?) was great. This isn’t the room we actually reserved but we received an upgrade for some issue with the room we did reserve. This room was amazing and private. Hotel services were excellent. I always love staying here. Thank you guys!

Not sure what time check in, i checked in late. Check out is at 11:00 am
Check in was 3 pm. Check out was noon. Depends how many rooms are changing over. If they have something, they try to accommodate you. If you are part of their reward group, you can extend check out an hour.
By train take metro north to 42. Then take 7 train to 5th avenue
