What’s striking about this archive is how poorly lit / displayed everything is. It should be like walking into a gallery, not some afterthought that looks like an collectors basement. Look at the shelves - only the top shelf is lit, so the items at the bottom are in shadow. The ‘Disney Archive’ sign is also poorly lit and displayed. The framed pictures aren’t even hung evenly. I imagine this is to avoid the thermostats and light switches on the wall. What’s more is the closed Venetian blinds in most of the rooms. So tacky. It’s just an awful looking place and disrespects the archive itself. Needs a properly considered space. I think Disney has some money for a much-needed upgrade.

Unfortunately, no. Because it is located within the Studio Lot, you will need to have an employee that has access to the Lot, call you a pass. With out the pass you will not be admitted on to the property.
