I took my laptop there for hardware issues, though I didn't know that was the specific issue until I explained what was happening, at which time they were able to tell me what it was most likely due to. They were very nice and accommodating and also knowledgeable and informative about the issue, or issues since the repairs ended up being about more than just a hardware issue. They were very attentive and seemed to really care about correcting the problem as well as any other issues they noticed in the process, and the turn-around time was quick. I would definitely use them again as well as suggest them for anyone who may be looking for a computer repair place. Thank you GCS.

This is my go-to place for computer repairs. Labor costs are cheaper than at the local bike store (Cycle Sport). Everything I've brought in has been fixed quickly and affordably.

The hinge on my perfectly working Asus laptop broken. The first shop I went to went online and said no parts were available and that he would have to lose things back together and need to keep the computer for five days. I stopped by this shop six blocks away and he said he could fix it by putting three miniature screws in from the back of the laptop. He said it would be ready the next day. Three hours later he called and said it was ready! I went and picked it up and the price was the $180 he had quoted. I have a regular "computer guy" we have used for many years to build our desktops and set up the software on my laptop's. He wasn't equipped to deal to deal with a problem like this.

I've been to this store two times in last 8 years because my computers don't break often. I had wonderful experience when I visited this place. First time, they took out the harddrive from my laptop PC because it was too old, too slow and it was time for the upgrade. They made a nice external harddrive from my old laptop's harddrive. I remembered it cost probably $60+ dollars almost 8 years ago. The second time took place last week. It was for my old desktop PC. I took it in and the staff diagnosed the problem. He explained it to me what the problem was. He could do it but he would charge 40 dollars, etc. The staff also cleaned my desktop PC. I would recommend this place to my friends.

I have gotten several laptop screens replaced at General Computer. Their process are fair, their work is good and you get your laptop back quickly. Good luck.
