Unreasonably expensive; but good selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Off-putting smell when you walk in the door. I am allergic to eggs, and dairy intolerant, so I often find myself buying vegan food since those are safe for me. This store has a lot of selections safe for me from shelf stable protucts, to anything you'd find in a fridge, and even fresh made hot food. That being said, almost everything costs 25-50% more than when I get the same products from different stores. (And I'm not saying "vegan milk costs more here than the milk they sell at <other store>" I'm literally telling you "the same 1/2 gallon carton of *BRAND* vegan milk costs $5 here and $3.50 at <other store>". This store allows me to get a lot of my stuff in one place instead of hopping store to store for different vegan foods; but it definitely costs more to get it here than it would cost to drive store to store as I deal with other stores' limited selections.

The most beautiful vegetable and fruit stations I’ve ever seen. Don’t go in hungry, their hot foods and sandwiches are the definite bomb!! ❤️❤️❤️

I just love this store because the fruits and vegetables are very good and delicious 😋. I always go there for grocery shopping. The employees are very friendly and the store is very clean. Thank you Whole Foods I would give you more stars 🌟 if I could. My name is MARY.

I have lived in San Jose for 18 years and I like to buy my fruits and vegetables in different places every 2 or 3 days so that they are always fresh. As we live 5 minutes from the area, we are going to have coffee after lunch and I take the opportunity to do my shopping at Whole Food. Outside there are always interesting offers and when entering a good selection of plants and flowers, I have several succulents from there for my collection. The staff is super helpful, the few times that I need help I quickly found someone to guide me, who in general is a person with a look of a hippie chic with colorful air and tattoos.<3 After a trip to Europe we started consuming a Swedish brand of oat milk, we did it until we tried the 365 Oat Original house brand - the same taste for a lower price - now is the one we buy. We also love the variety of european cheeses - I feel at home - and breads - the ciabatta with herbs is delicious - In the fish and seafood area we always find the largest and tastiest prawns / poke and fresh lobsters. As we are Prime members sometimes there is a discount - not much - but we still like to shop there. Everything is of good quality, I highly recommend it.

They carry San J brand gluten free hoisin sauce
You should call and ask. This goes to the public.
If you tested positive for covid I don't think you can shop at Whole Foods.
I'm sure you probably can.
I'm not positive, but I believe so, but call to find out, before acting on information.
Decent. Gloves and masks on counter staff, plastic guards for the cashiers. Some of the u-pick items now packaged so people don't barehand the baked goods or handle the same tongs. I would avoid the bulk dispensers for the time being myself. Don't remember seeing any sanitizer dispensers after the front entrance though.
Seriously? I don't know because I don't eat fish anymore. Call them and ask.
If you call main line I assume it will give you a pharmacy option..
What do you mean?
They have several soups. Lots to choose from.
You would need to phone them and ask, sorry
