The office is typically open 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday through Thursdays, not including holidays or when the doctor is away at meetings. For any medical emergency, call 9-1-1. For urgent issues like post-operative surgical site complications, the doctor can be reached after-hours and on weekends by either: (1) Calling the phone number at the end of the post-operative wound care instruction sheet that is given at the end of any surgery. This is the doctor’s personal cell phone number. (2) Calling the main office number, 607-444-5446, and following the prompts to contact the on-call physician for urgent after-hours issues. We contract with about 20 of the most common insurers. That includes those insurers medicare advantage plans. There are a small number of insurers who have decided that they do not want to have a Mohs surgeon in network in this region because they don't understand that all dermatologists don't do Mohs. So there are a few insurers that we do not contract with. It is best to call to determine if we participate with your plan.
